La Perouse Museum
Continuing the travel of Send-Off to new locations, this version also reflects on the ruinous vestiges of French imperialism in the La Perouse area through the hollow plaster replicas of Louis XVI and Lapérouse; with the namesake of the latter embedded in the Museum's name. The waxen copies of these busts conjure a legacy of mythmaking.
